Maria Cristina Ozzetti, conhecida como Ná Ozzetti, nasceu em São Paulo no dia 12 de dezembro de 1958.

 

A prática musical se iniciou em casa em companhia de seus irmãos. Estudou piano na infância, começou a cantar na adolescência e, já adulta, formou-se em artes plásticas.

 

Em 1979 iniciou sua carreira musical com o grupo Rumo, com o qual fez muitos shows e gravou 6 LPs.

 

Lançou o primeiro álbum solo em 1988, intitulado NÁ OZZETTI, pelo qual recebeu o Prêmio Sharp de revelação feminina na categoria MPB. No segundo disco, NÁ, lançado em 1994, passou a apresentar suas composições. Com este disco conquistou o Prêmio Sharp do ano nas categorias de “melhor disco” e “melhor arranjador” (Dante Ozzetti) no segmento pop-rock.

 

Em 1996 lançou o álbum LOVE LEE RITA, em homenagem à conterrânea Rita Lee.  Em 1999 lançou o álbum ESTOPIM, com canções inéditas e parcerias com Luiz Tatit, Dante Ozzetti, Itamar Assumpção e Zé Miguel Wisnik.

 

Em 2000 recebeu o prêmio de “melhor intérprete” no Festival da Música Brasileira promovido pela Rede Globo de Televisão, interpretando a canção “Show”, de Fábio Tagliaferri e Luiz Tatit. Como premiação, lançou o disco SHOW, com repertório de clássicos das décadas de 1940/50.

 

Em 2005 lançou, com o pianista e compositor André Mehmari o CD PIANO E VOZ e em 2006 o DVD homônimo, incluindo CD com gravações inéditas do DUO de Piano e Voz.

 

Em 2009 lança o álbum BALANGANDÃS, que traz canções de Assis Valente, Synval Silva, Ary Barroso, Dorival Caymmi e Braguinha, eternizadas na voz de Carmem Miranda. Por este trabalho, Ná e a banda formada por Dante Ozzetti, Mário Manga, Sérgio Reze e Zé Alexandre Carvalho conquistaram o primeiro lugar da categoria de “melhor disco popular” no 5º Prêmio Bravo! Prime de Cultura.

 

Com a mesma banda gravou os discos MEU QUINTAL (2011) e EMBALAR (2013).

Neste ano recebeu o Prêmio Governador do Estado de SP, pelo conjunto de sua obra até então.

 

Ao longo de sua carreira participou de projetos com outros artistas, entre eles Zé Miguel Wisnik, Luiz Tatit, Suzana Salles, Itamar Assumpção, Zélia Duncan, Mônica Salmaso, Ivan Vilela, Kiko Dinucci, Rodrigo Campos, Romulo Fróes, Kristoff Silva.

 

Em 2015 participou de dois diferentes projetos com ícones da música popular contemporânea brasileira, tendo lançado os discos "NÁ e ZÉ" com Zé Miguel Wisnik, e "THIAGO FRANÇA" com o grupo Passo Torto.

 

Em 2019, para celebrar 40 anos de carreira, Ná estreou o espetáculo “Ná 40 anos de palcos” dirigido pela atriz e diretora Carla Candiotto, com cenário de Marco Lima e iluminação de Wagner Freire.

 

No mesmo ano o grupo Rumo lançou mais um disco de canções inéditas "UNIVERSO"com a participação de Ná

 

Em 2022 lançou o mini doc “Se Você Aparecer”, dirigido por Luan Cardoso , com arranjos musicais de Dante Ozzetti e performances ao lado de Dante e do multi instrumentista Mário Manga. O mini doc contém canções autorais inéditas, em parcerias com Luiz, Tatit, Joãozinho Gomes, Rodrigo Sestrem, Romulo Fróes, Zeca Baleiro e Zélia Duncan e está disponível no canal Youtube de Ná

 

Em 2024 lança o álbum autoral “DE LUA” em parceria com Luiz Tatit, produzido por Jonas Tatit

No mesmo ano estréia o espetáculo “BALANGANDÃS BABILÔNIA” em homenagem a Carmen Miranda e Rita Lee

 

Em 2025 lança o album “NÁ CANTA ZÉ CARLOS RIBEIRO”, produzido por Danilo Penteado, com composições do parceiro do grupo Rumo Zé Carlos Ribeiro.

 

Em 2026 lança o EP “MUSICA NA POESIA - CANÇÕES DE MARCO OZZETTI E SIMONE BACELAR”

Maria Cristina Ozzetti, known as Ná Ozzetti, was born in São Paulo on December 12, 1958. Her interest in music started at home, with her brothers and sister, all musicians. She studied piano as a child, started to sing as a teenager, and then graduated in Fine Arts.

 

In 1979 she began her musical career with the group Rumo, with whom she gave a large number of shows and recorded 6 LPs.

 

In 1988 she released her first solo album, entitled Ná Ozzetti, for which she won the Sharp Award in the category Best New Female Singer in the MPB – Popular Brazilian Music – category.

 

On the second disc, launched in 1994, she began to present her own compositions. This disc won the Sharp Award in the categories of Best Album and Best Arranger (Dante Ozzetti, her brother) in the Pop-Rock category. In 1996 she released the CD Love Lee Rita, a tribute to her compatriot Rita Lee

 

In 1999 she launched the CD Estopim [Fuse], containing unreleased songs written with Luiz Tatit, Dante Ozzetti, Itamar Assumpção and Zé Miguel Wisnik.

 

In 2000 she received the award for Best Performer in the Brazilian Music Festival sponsored by Globo TV, with the song “Show”, by Luiz Fabio Tagliaferri and Luiz Tatit. After the award, she launched the disc “Show”, with a repertoire of classics from the 1940s and 1950s.

 

In 2005 she released, together with pianist and composer André Mehmari, the CD Piano and Voice, and in 2006 the DVD, including a CD with unreleased recordings they had made together.

 

In 2009 she launched the album Balangandãs, which features songs by Assis Valente, Synval Silva, Ary Barroso, Dorival Caymmi and Braguinha, immortalized in the voice of Carmen Miranda. For this work, Ná and the band formed by Dante Ozzetti, Mário Manga, Sérgio Reze and Zé Alexandre Carvalho won first place in the category Best Popular Record in the Fifth Bravo! Prime Culture Award.

 

With the same band she recorded Meu Quintal [My Backyard] (2011) and Embalar [Packing] (2013), which received the Governor of the State of São Paulo Prize.

 

Throughout her career she has taken part in projects with other artists, including Zé Miguel Wisnik, Luiz Tatit, Suzana Salles, Itamar Assumpção, Zelia Duncan, Mônica Salmaso, Ivan Vilela, Kiko Dinucci, Rodrigo Campos, Romulo Froes, and Kristoff Silva.

 

In 2015 launched two importants albuns: "NÁ e ZÉ" with Zé Miguel Wisnik, and "THIAGO FRANÇA" whith the group Passo Torto.
